As an internationally active company steeped in tradition, SPAX positions itself with innovative new products for wood construction and other application areas. Based in Ennepetal in South Westphalia, SPAX International GmbH & Co. KG has been raising the bar in fastening technology for more than 50 years. Since the market launch of the internationally renowned and esteemed SPAX screw in 1967, the company has embodied top quality and innovation in screw production. The main customers for SPAX products include craftspeople and DIY enthusiasts, who purchase them via specialist retail and DIY stores, as well as the global construction and furniture industries. Every day, up to 50 million screws are produced in South Westphalia. SPAX is part of ALTENLOH, BRINCK & CO (ABC) GmbH & Co. KG, which was founded in 1823.

In addition to individual products, SPAX develops system solutions such as the SPAX T-STAR plus screw system. In this system, the SPAX T-STAR plus bit with pilot pin joins forces with the matching SPAX T-STAR plus drive with screw head countersink to form a precisely fitting unit. Renowned among DIY enthusiasts and professional craftspeople for decades, the product is now a firm leader on the market. The practical matching SPAX BITBOX T-STAR plus also guarantees fast and convenient bit changing.
The manufacturer regularly enhances the established range with efficient individual products to facilitate the work of professionals. The range includes, for example, the new black SPAX façade screws in stainless steel A2 BLAX, the SPAX decking screw in different versions for use on wooden or aluminium structures, the SPAX sealing screw with two different sealing washers in diameters of 15mm and 20mm, the SPAX L-BOXX and systainer T-Loc assembly cases, as well as the new black SPAX universal screws BLAX.
which, in addition to their sophisticated black appearance, offer the familiar SPAX core features: the T-STAR plus drive, the MULTI head flat countersunk head, the SPAX serrations and the 4CUT point. These are joined by the SPAX wood connectors, which are the perfect addition to the existing product range.
