K700 E - quiet and flexible over many hours

The K700 E can work autonomously for many hours thanks to a powerful battery system. It is based on the tried-and-tested Klaas K700, a 7.5-tonne crane with a hook height of 34.5 m and a lifting capacity of 1.6 tonnes.

The K700 E is the electrified version of the Klaas K700, our compact entry-level model in the 7.5 tonne class. There is no difference between the two in terms of performance and technical features. In the electric version, the mobile crane is equipped with a battery-powered electric motor. Thanks to the lead-acid battery with a capacity of 24 kWh and an optimised consumption setting, the K700 E has enough energy for a full working day with many lifting and turning operations. Even working with the platform is possible for more than five hours without recharging. The 230 V charging technology provides the crane with enough power overnight for the next job. As a second drive option, the K700 E is equipped with a powerful auxiliary drive for the lorry engine. This means that the crane can be reliably operated with the access platform even on long jobs.

The K700 E is equipped with many technical details that make the daily work of roofers, carpenters and façade builders much easier. For example, the double hydraulically telescoping folding jib, in which the first two elements can be extended sleeplessly via the radio remote control, enables comfortable working. This means that the K700 E can even be set up on construction sites with limited space and is ready for use within a few minutes. Another plus point: hydraulic telescoping "in the air" also works with an attached aerial work platform. This makes many assemblies possible from the basket, and the platform can be used in a variety of ways.

A new addition to the Klaas accessories program is a rotating platform for two people with a load capacity of 200 kg. This can be rotated 225 degrees in both directions so that any position within 360 degrees can be approached. In conjunction with the long lateral reach of the K700 E, work can also be carried out safely from the platform cage at the rear of buildings and in hard-to-reach areas. The platform is made of high-quality aluminium and complies with the strict safety standards of EN 280. Thanks to a folding head piece on the platform, the basket can be rotated even when the mast angle is flat. The required headroom for comfortable working is ensured by a safety switch. The platform can be operated precisely and safely using the remote control and is automatically levelled by the platform control system.
