Founded in 1993, SWISS KRONO TEX GmbH & Co. KG, based in Heiligengrabe/Brandenburg, is part of the SWISS KRONO Group, one of the world's leading wood-based materials companies. The core competencies of the German site lie in the production of high-quality laminate flooring under the KRONOTEX brand and high-performance OSB and MDF boards under the SWISS KRONO brand. The company offers customer-oriented solutions with innovative ecological products as well as comprehensive advice and support. With around 850 employees at its Heiligengrabe site, SWISS KRONO TEX GmbH & Co. KG is conscious of its social responsibility and uses the natural raw material wood to produce individual wood-based materials and flooring, which are exported to more than 90 countries.
At DACH+HOLZ International, SWISS KRONO will showcase innovative solutions for solid timber construction based on MAGNUMBOARD® OSB in Hall 7, Stand 506. The focus will be on elements that combine fast construction, a high load-bearing capacity, cost efficiency, and design flexibility.
Timber construction is gaining momentum and is becoming a key topic for the future. MAGNUMBOARD® OSB offers a solid alternative to conventional construction methods and impresses in particular through time savings and independence from the seasons: while monolithic construction methods often have to pause due to winter conditions, MAGNUMBOARD® OSB enables construction all year round.
The exhibition stand, which is built using MAGNUMBOARD® OSB elements and adopts the silhouette of a house, directly demonstrates how solid timber construction works in practice. Visitors can experience real application scenarios in wall, ceiling and component assemblies, ranging from sectional samples to a fully functional interior wall model.
Product highlight MAGNUMBOARD® OSB // Premium
… enables solid timber construction up to building class 5. Walls, ceilings and roof elements with dimensions of up to 18,000 x 3,800 mm can be individually and easily manufactured using SWISS KRONO MAGNUMBOARD® OSB // Premium. Large-format and individually prefabricated components are a decisive factor for:
· short construction times
· precise dimensional accuracy
· efficient processes on the construction site
The material is produced at the Heiligengrabe site and then further processed by licensed partners, who will also be presented at the trade fair stand.
Product highlight MAGNUMBOARD® OSB // Evolution
… will be presented at the trade fair as a full-scale demonstration model: interior walls with visible joints, screw connections, openings and cable channels can be examined directly. The compact MAGNUMBOARD® OSB format (2,470 x 2,770 mm) is ideally suited for applications such as additional storeys, garages or partition walls.
Recently, the elements have been approved for direct coating, which visitors will be able to experience firsthand at the stand.

· slim wall constructions
Product highlight MAGNUMBOARD® OSB // HybridWood
… are solid OSB/4 floor slabs with reinforced concrete ribs for large spans. With this timber–concrete composite floor system, SWISS KRONO presents a solution for particularly demanding structural requirements, opening up new areas of application in public buildings and large-scale projects.
