The new designer water collector is discreetly integrated into the downpipe and thereby contributes to the pleasing appearance of any building object. The combination of metal and high-quality, black recycled plastic emphasizes the simple elegance and at the same time meets the demand for sustainability.
Functionally optimized – easy to assemble
The designer water collector impresses with its form and functionality. An integrated spiral screw enables a small reduction in the cross-section of the collector and thus scores with a high yield - a clear advantage over collectors available on the market. The principle used is simple: a connecting hose between the water collector and the rain barrel allows the water level in the barrel to be regulated. The rain barrel fills up to the desired water level and drains excess water directly into the sewer system. Thanks to the precise transition from the designer water collector to the downpipe, the downpipe does not need to be muffed. The designer water collector is simply inserted into the downpipe. This saves effort, time, and money. Depending on the length of the hose, the location of the rain barrel can be freely chosen. So it does not have to be positioned in the immediate vicinity of the built-in water collector. The scope of delivery includes a connection set with a 330 millimeter flexible hose, including a barrel connection, for mounting the water collector on the rain barrel.
Frost-proof through the winter
All materials are frost-proof. For this reason, the designer water collector can remain installed in the downpipe even during the winter months. It is simply switched to winter mode using a slider. Frost damage is minimized because rain or meltwater can flow unhindered into the sewer system even in winter, and any remaining water is drained away via a separate drainage opening. The innovative closure system is impressive to use and is unique on the market. An additional sealing lid that permanently shuts down the water collector is available as an option.
Sliding sleeve for more flexibility
In order to be able to easily maintain and clean the designer water collector, we also recommend installing the GRÖMO sliding sleeve. This makes the subsequent installation and removal of drainage components child's play - even for homeowners. The water collector is available in the materials zinc, copper, stainless steel and aluminum as well as color-coated as part of the GRÖMO ALUSTAR range and fits all common drain pipes NG 100.
