The Schaffitzel Construction Kit SMART

"The Schaffitzel hall construction kit SMART" will be the focus of Schaffitzel Holzindustrie's trade fair appearance at Dach+Holz 2024: The hall construction kit SMART is a load-bearing construction kit that is suitable for hall projects for which no crane runway and no clamped pillars are planned. The complete kit is made of glulam and is therefore ecological. It can be used for production, exhibition or storage halls and can be adapted to any industry. It is ideal for carpenters who want to build their own hall or have received an order from their customer to build a hall. However, it is of course also of interest to craft businesses in other sectors who want to build their hall and take the assembly and building on their own.

The structural analysis of the load-bearing structure is included in the kit. Customisation and flexibility in terms of floor plan and design are further features that characterise the new kit concept. As the hall structure is braced solely via the roof and wall bracing and is designed as a suspended hall structure, additional savings can be made in the foundations. A large, cantilevered canopy is included in the structural model, as well as the placement for a ridge light strip.

With this new hall concept, Schaffitzel Holzindustrie is demonstrating a solution with which an ecological hall project can be realised in smart structural dimensions. With more in-house labour, new hall construction projects become easier to finance, even with increased overall construction costs: Build smart - not hard!
