Convincing added value
The EVALON® waterproofing system has been impressing installers, planners and building owners alike for more than 50 years. This is because the EVALON® synthetic waterproofing membrane with its homogeneous waterproofing layer, combined with individual on-site customer service and the wind suction protection and drainage calculations required for professional flat roof construction, provides added value for roof tradesmen. EVALON® with its high-polymer alloy of ethylene vinyl acetate terpolymer (EVA) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is used for all single-layer waterproofing.
Due to their bitumen compatibility, all EVALON® waterproofing membranes are also suitable for roof renovations. Direct installation without separation layers on all standardized roof insulation materials and other common building materials is also possible. EVALON® waterproofing membranes are joined together using hot air or swelling welding agent.
EVALASTIC® - "flawless" and "wash-proof"
EVALASTIC® is the high-quality EPDM waterproofing membrane for sustainable and climate-friendly construction and impresses with its thermoelasticity, bitumen compatibility, insulating material neutrality and plasticizer-free properties. The waterproofing membrane is unbeatably user-friendly when it comes to the all-important seam joining: This is because EVALASTIC® is "flawless" and homogeneously weldable not only in the seam area, but at every point of the waterproofing membrane. Other product-specific properties such as high resistance to chemicals, FLL-tested resistance to root penetration and rhizomes and extremely high cold flexibility down to -40 degrees Celsius make EVALASTIC® an all-rounder for almost all waterproofing tasks. In addition, the ecological profile of the EVALASTIC® system is exemplary: absolutely chlorine-free and free from any chlorinated organic compounds, PVC, bitumen or plasticizers. Both the sustainability and the outstanding ecological profile are documented in the comprehensive Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). Recent tests by the German Federal Environment Agency prove that the formulation of EVALASTIC® is ecotoxicologically harmless and therefore does not cause any toxic leaching during precipitation.
Form, function, perfection
For 60 years, Trier-based alwitra GmbH has been the only German manufacturer to produce customized aluminium profiles for roof edge and wall coverings as well as for wall connections. The tried-and-tested profile systems not only provide fabricators with visually appealing, but also reliable and safe solutions. In addition to the profiles, alwitra also provides the necessary stable brackets as well as clear information on the bracket spacing to be maintained, with reliable structural information on request.
In addition to manufacturing, alwitra also provides the coating and finishing of the aluminum profiles from a single source. Thanks to the company's own, particularly energy-saving and extremely environmentally friendly powder coating system, the profiles can be coated with highly weather-resistant powder, which stands for extreme color stability and durability of the material. alwitra aluminum profiles are available in almost any color - from natural aluminum to all RAL CLASSIC colors.
A secure basis for PV systems
With the EVATEC® Solar mounting rail, ballast-free and low-maintenance installation of standard PV modules on warm roofs with alwitra waterproofing is possible. A positive side-effect: during the final installation of the PV modules, the specialist installer no longer has to interfere with the roof structure. The patented mounting unit is delivered completely pre-assembled and ready for installation. It consists of an insulation core, an aluminum support rail, an EVALON® or EVALASTIC® shaped part for sealing, an aluminum cover profile and a special shaped part made of stainless steel. The latter accommodates the Rapid system connector from Schletter Solar GmbH, which is also supplied. The innovative rail is fastened with approved roofing screws, which are simply screwed into the supporting shell from above through the existing roof waterproofing. There is no need to fasten into the load-bearing structure of the roof, such as purlins, rafters or trusses. The mechanical anchoring in the load-bearing layer ensures that the usual lifting and pushing forces are safely dissipated. The roof installer then welds the homogeneous shaped part permanently and tightly to the surface waterproofing. On request, alwitra offers project-specific planning and preliminary structural calculations.
