Anyone who plans a chimney as the centerpiece of their new home is relying on security of supply, a healthy living climate and remains flexible in their choice of fuel. However, it is important to pay attention to the quality of the chimney system installed.

With the "P1W3G package", even pellet condensing boilers with overpressure technology can be connected to the ERLUS LAF premium chimney.
System solutions with one to three-pass chimney systems can be adapted to room sizes, stove types and house sizes and also offer space for the cables to the PV or solar thermal system on the roof. Particularly interesting for new builds: ERLUS supplies all chimney systems both as assembly systems and preassembled storey-high for particularly fast installation by crane on the building site.
Room air-independent, flexible and safe
Building envelopes are becoming increasingly airtight. As a result, fireplaces, especially wood-burning or tiled stoves, can generally no longer draw their combustion air from the room air. This is why ERLUS offers premium chimneys that are independent of the room air. The ERLUS chimney system conducts the required combustion air safely from the chimney head to the fireplace via a circumferential fresh air duct between the casing brick and the insulated high-grade ceramic pipe. This ensures safe operation and a pleasant room climate. The LAF premium chimney from ERLUS is one for all - it directs the combustion air to the fireplace via the chimney head and the concentric fresh air duct. The chimney head is designed in such a way that no flue gases can mix with the fresh air flow. The flue gas discharge flue pipe column consists of ERLUS Edelkeramik socket pipes with 6 cm high sockets and is available up to a diameter of 20 cm.
Edelkeramik® pipe as the centerpiece
The patented ERLUS Edelkeramik® pipe is a socket pipe that is soot fire resistant, insensitive to moisture and suitable for all types of fuel. Even biogenic fuels can be fully utilized energetically, as the ERLUS Edelkeramik® pipe permits flue gas temperatures that can be lowered into the condensation range. With the additional P1W3G package, even pellet condensing boilers with overpressure technology can be connected to an ERLUS LAF premium chimney.
Retrofitting or renovating a chimney
Is your house missing a chimney or is your old chimney defective? Thanks to its wide range of chimneys with ERLUS Edelkeramik®, ERLUS offers practical and durable solutions for renovation and retrofitting, not only for new buildings but also for retrofitting.
In principle, all chimney systems from ERLUS are suitable for retrofitting in buildings, but the ceiling loads must be taken into account and the ceiling openings for the chimney must be created. The LAF premium chimney in assembly design is particularly suitable here.
"We generally recommend installing an LAF premium chimney when building a house, so that end users are well equipped, regardless of which fuel they want to use. Retrofitting in old buildings is sometimes severely restricted due to the changed discharge conditions," explains Jürgen Böhm, Sales Manager Chimney System and Ventilation Network at ERLUS AG. If, for example, there is a balcony or terrace on the gable end of the house, it is difficult to install an external chimney.
Discreet solution for the living room: the ERLUS design door
And if the house has no cellar and the dream stove is in the living room, ERLUS design doors are the discreet solution. Because every chimney requires a chimney base with a cleaning door for the chimney sweep and access to the condensate drain. The ERLUS design doors can be matched to the wall on site in terms of color and structure.
Healthy heating
Building healthy homes with tested products is possible with the largest database of health-tested building and equipment products from the Sentinel Haus Institut SHI. ERLUS chimney systems are tested for harmful substances and approved for the construction of healthy homes.
The Institute's limit values are therefore particularly comprehensive and in some cases even stricter than the specifications of the Federal Environment Agency.
