Four different PV systems in the CREATON product range

Today, no roofing professional can ignore the topic of photovoltaics. The requirements vary depending on the project. There is a suitable solution for every house. The options range from on-roof installations to roof-integrated variants and solar tiles.

Almost every builder plans to install a photovoltaic system on their new construction. For the roofing professional, this represents both an opportunity and a challenge. With photovoltaics, a consultation-intensive field has been added to the roofer's repertoire. For the builder, there is only one point of contact for the roof. When choosing the photovoltaic system, three main types can be roughly distinguished. There is a fundamental difference between on-roof and roof-integrated systems. Solar tiles represent a special case, where a small PV panel is installed on each tile surface.

On-Roof System – the economical solution

The on-roof photovoltaic system offers builders a future-proof and cost-effective option for sustainable energy generation all in one package. The modular concept allows for a lot of flexibility in potential future expansions or the replacement of individual modules.

The on-roof photovoltaic system includes the complete support system, modules, and the reliable Enphase microinverter system, including standard wiring. The smooth-click technology allows for quick and easy installation of the module clamps. For all solar solutions from CREATON, the installation is carried out as part of the roof covering – by roofers and carpenters. The on-roof photovoltaic system is particularly easy to assemble with pre-fabricated components. No special tools are needed for installation. This means that the roof belongs entirely to the roofing professional; they do not have to share the job with other trades, as the electrician only handles the work inside the house when installing this system.

Roof-Integrated PV System for a Uniform Roof Landscape

With two variants of the roof-integrated PV system, CREATON offers a simple and visually appealing way to utilize photovoltaics on the roof.

The CREATON PV VARIO system is a particularly flexible solution for complex roofs with skylights and dormers. The Creaton PV SMART system is the ideal choice for open, rectangular roof areas. The black PV modules can be completely integrated into the roof, creating a uniform and aesthetically pleasing roof surface. All components are perfectly coordinated and easily accessible for repairs and replacements.

Design for the Roof: CREATON Autarq Solar Roof Tiles

The CREATON PV Autarq roof tile promises easy integration and an appealing appearance. The technology allows for high-quality solar systems to be discreetly integrated into the roof. The solar roof tiles are based on the CREATON Smooth Tile DOMINO. They are installed like normal roof tiles. The solar roof tiles are simply installed in conjunction with or in place of the original tiles, and no changes are necessary to the roof. Even in areas not covered with solar modules, such as the ridge or roof edge, the Domino model is used, ensuring an aesthetic integration into the building's architecture. Due to the modular system, the arrangement and size of the solar fields can be flexibly adjusted to the customer's preferences. Water management and ventilation of the tile remain unaffected by the technology. During installation, the solar tiles are individually connected to each other through tested plug connections. The systems are delivered as a complete package, including planning and consultation, battery storage, inverter, and monitoring.
