Remmers to showcase its innovative PU hybrid waterproofing product MB PUReactive+ for fast and economical flat roof regeneration at the DACH + HOLZ trade fair
From 5 to 8 March 2024, Remmers (Löningen) will be demonstrating the power of its guiding principle “We get it done!” at the DACH + HOLZ international trade fair in Stuttgart. The company is set to present a wide variety of innovative solutions for waterproofing flat roofs and buildings, and for wood preservation. The highlights at exhibition stand 204 in hall 8 will include a new spray-on PU hybrid waterproofing product for flat roof regeneration. Flat roof waterproofing is a hands-on aspect of building protection. At the Remmers exhibition stand, visitors from the worlds of roofing and carpentry will be able to experience the products up close in daily practical demonstrations. From preparing the substrate to applying the waterproofing material and sealing the surface, all the steps of renovation will be brought to life in an engaging way. Not only will visitors be able to see the products in action, they will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and try out the materials for themselves.
Fast flat roof regeneration that you can rely on
At the exhibition stand, the “flat roof” zone will contain everything you need to know about the innovative PU hybrid waterproofing product MB PUReactive+. Remmers developed this product specially for the fast and cost-effective regeneration of existing flat roofs. MB PUReactive+ is based on a liquid component and a special powder component that create a synergy when mixed together. The product is also fibre-reinforced, eliminating the need for reinforcing fabric. This has been demonstrated in the approval according to EAD 0303-50-00-0402 (formerly ETAG 005) in the highest performance classes.
Due to the lack of a fabric layer, MB PUReactive+ is not a conventional waterproofing material according to German regulations and can therefore be classified as a regeneration layer – with the same technical properties as a conventional waterproofing system. From large surface areas down to intricate details, the liquid regeneration layer MB PUReactive+ can be applied manually or by spraying.
The product is also suitable for application to existing old coatings, for example membranes made from FPO/TPO, PVC or bitumen. When applying the product by spraying, surface areas can be covered at a rate of more than 150m²/h.
This saves time in the long term and also makes the work process easier, because the material no longer has to be transported to the roof by crane, but can also be conveyed upwards by hose. What’s more, MB PUReactive+ has good stability that allows it to adapt to any unevenness, upturns and penetration points. Its excellent adhesion to the existing waterproofing layer ensures durable results with real staying power.
