b/s/t Parapet Vapour Barrier Collar

To connect round parapet drain and emergency overflow drains to the vapour barrier membrane, which is raised on the inside of the parapet, b/s/t now has the b/s/t Parapet Vapour Barrier Collar in its product range. 

Due to its bitumen compatibility, the b/s/t Parapet Vapour Barrier Collar can be used on both PE and bitumen vapour barrier (not for the bitumen top layer).

The grommet is made of durable, elastic EPDM rubber to enable a form-fit passage of parapet drain and emergency overflow drain pipes of various diameters through the parapet vapour barrier. The self-adhesive sleeve enables installation in seconds and without tools.

The b/s/t Parapet Vapour Barrier Collar can be used in a temperature range from -40 °C to +100 °C and is also resistant to ageing and UV radiation.

Processing information

• the surface must be dry, stable and free of dust and release agent; if in doubt, carry out an adhesive test
• avoid folds and creases
• the diameter of the selected sleeve must match the dimensions of the drain (see table of dimensions, drawing of installation situation)
• cuffs are talcum-coated at the factory
• if there is a lack of lubricity, use the enclosed talcum powder sachet or commercially available silicone spray and rework the inner grommet or the pipe
